AUTO IMMUNE DISORDER

Disease with unknown cause Idiopathic. Auto immune disorder may be genetical in nature or idiopathic. There are not completed curable disease.

1. Myasthenic gravis 

Weakness of muscle occur due to formation of auto antibodies against cholinergic receptor against neuro muscular junction is called myasthenic gravis.

Immune suppressive drugs, Surgical removal of thymus called Thymosin  hormone at puberty thymus release thymosin, it promotes formation of auto antibody i.e. suppress the formation auto immunity.



2. Pernicious Anemia

Intrinsic castle factor (ICF) : Secreted by  oxyntic or parietal cells of stomach. Maturation of  RBC : VITAMIN B12 and folic acid. immune RBC is of no. use to human. absorption of vitamin B12 in small intestine (Ileum) in the form of complex.

Reticulo endothetical system: liver ,spleen and bone marrow in frequency of diet with same amount can be controlled by some amount. Direct ingestion of vitamin B12 : If it given in high amount then it is stored in liver (Require ingestion in 3 month)


3.Hashimoto's Disease

It is also known as auto immune thyroiditis or suicide of thyroid. This cause due to deceasing the level of thyroxine hormone in blood. this postion known as  Hypothyroidism..
cure : give drug thyroxine 

4. Grave's Disease

It is also known as basedow's disease or thyrotoxicosis or exophthalmic goiter. In the absent of THS like they product lot of thyroxine so, increase the level of thyroxine in the blood. this condition is called hyperthyroidism.
 
  cure : Anti thyroid Drug partial thyroidectomy.
    

5. Rheumatoid arthritis:   


Rheumatic factor (IgM). Rheumatic fever is cause by streptococcus hemolyticus.it is caused some joint pain over throughout the body. The major past are affected that is arms , legs joint Rheumatoid heart disease: Inflammation of auricular valve and damage by heating of valve like bicuspid or tricuspid occur due to activation of rheumatic factor.  


6. Insulin dependent diabetes mellitus:


Insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (IDDM) is caused by destruction of the insulin-secreting beta-cells of the islets of Langerhans. It is proposed that the disease is caused by nongenetic, probably environmental, factors operating in a genetically susceptible host to initiate a destructive immune process.
Blood glucose level , Normal condition :70 to 110 mg/dl
at fasting : > 140mg/dl 
after meal : > 200mg/dl this condition known as Hyperglycemia
